Are there any FIFA patch makers out there from Sweden or Switzerland? If you are from Sweden, have experience in making patches or just like researching your league (finding photos for kits, stadia etc.), please send me an email. I have something interesting you may wish to be involved in. Only serious, dedicated FIFA players and patch makers/researchers please.
A couple of weeks ago I posted that FIFA webmasters should email me if they wanted thier sites listed on EA SPORTS' official FIFA 2003 Fan Site list. Thanks for all the emails. They've been forwarded to EA. Only thing slowing things down is the New Year's break. I expect all the sites to be added late next week. Have a happy New Year everyone!
Hello Fifa 2003 fans, I have a short review of whats happening in the Fifa 2003 Forum at the moment. This update should interest all the fans who like things edited.
The first topic I'll talk about involves a great Weather Patch. RAIN AND THUNDER 2003 adds many great random weather options to Fifa 2003 which gives you even better weather (depending if its raining or not) in Fifa 2003. To check it out click here.
Like Wayne Rooney? Well probably not if he has scored against your team recently. However Andy on the Soccer Gaming Forums has produced a wonderful face for Fifa 2003, and you would nearly think it was him. If you're an Everton supporter then this face is definately for you! Click here for a preview.
Kits, Kits and more Kits! GH02 has many of them previewed here. If you want some kits, have a look at his collection.
Its very hard to choose what threads should be talked about here, as a majority of the threads in the Fifa 2003 Forum are very informative. I encourage anyone who hasn't had a look for themselves to check out the Soccer Gaming Forums, register and experience them.
Soccer-Views.com are arranging an online FIFA 2003 tournament to be staged in the near future. The FIFA 2003 X-treme Challange will be comprised of 16 clubs teams playing in a group stage. Two clubs from each group will then move onto the knock-out phase, and so on.
The winner will then recieve an attractive prize courtesy Soccer-Views.com, as well as have their name posted on the web site for all to see. This tournament is open to Cable/ISDN users across the globe, but hurry, the last time I checked there were only 4 positions still availabe. Click here to sign up.
Happy Holidays everyone! Being the greedy American that I am, I'm pretty excited for Christmas and I probably won't have time tomorrow to update so I thought I'd say that a day early :). With that out of the way, here is your Downloads Centre Update:
Realistic Gameplay Patch v. 2.0
Milan Home Kit Textures
Portugal Home, Away & Keeper Kits
Argentina Home Kit Textures
Portugal Home, Away, & Keeper Kits
Head to the Downloads Centre and pick up our gift to you. Once again, I hope everyone has a happy holiday and a great time!

It is time for this week's FIFA community wrap-up. This news was taken straight from Soccer Gaming, which, if you didn't already know, is once again being updated on a daily basis.
German FIFA 2003 Online have released one of the first weather patches for FIFA 2003. From snow, rain, mud and night time effects, this weather patches adds to the game what EA didn't.
The guys at FIFA Korea have taken up the difficult challenge of trying to keep up with David Beckham's ever changing hair style. Visit their site today to grab the latest Beckham cut.
FIFA 99 online has been updated. No... you haven't stepped back in time four years... the most popular FIFA 99 site of its era has a new webmaster and is once again being updated.
Finally, no FIFA community update would be complete with out a new patch from the awesome guys at Soccer Access. This week they have two beauties! The first is described as being simple, yet VERY useful. The Club Championship Designer is exactly that. It allows you to add your favourite team to the action packed Club Championship league in FIFA 2003. If this is not enough, Argentinean fans will be over the moon to learn that the eagerly awaited Argentinian League Episode 2 "The Summer Challenge" patch has also been released at Soccer Access's partner site, FIFA Express.
Check back here next week for the next community wrap-up.
Today we are happy to announce the opening of our Controls section. We have added detailed control guides for the Keyboard, Gravis Gamepad Pro, Microsoft Sidewinder, Thrustmaster Firestorm Gamepad and PS2 controller. If you're having trouble mastering the controls, or maybe you've "misplaced" your FIFA 2003 manual, make sure you check out the all new Controls section today.
We received quite a few complains about some of the pages loading very slowly in the Downloads Centre. Thankfully, we've sorted out this problem. So if you've been trying to browse through the 7200+ files in the Downloads Centre but couldn't do due to slow loading pages, head there today, as things are once again running nice and speedy.
EA SPORTS have asked me to help organise the Fan Sites section of the Official FIFA 2003 Website. Currently there are quite a few of the biggest FIFA fan sites listed in this section. However, EA know there are also a number of terrific sites out there that are missing from the list.
If you would like your FIFA site listed in the Fan Sites section, please send me an email. Tell me the name of your site, the URL, and which country section you would like it listed in. I'll make sure it is added when the Fan Sites section is updated next week.
If your site is already in the Fan Sites list, but in the wrong country section email me as well with the correct information.
As per usual, the Fifa 2003 Forum has been overloaded with discussion.
First on my agenda is to preview in the NSL 2003 Patch. For the people who don’t know, the NSL is Australia's National Soccer League. Chris Murphy known as zul-aid on the Forums, and a few others are constructing this Patch. The Kits are superb which being constructed by Ryan Mann. There are some screenshots of the kits in the thread, which you can check out here or head on over to Fifa Oceania.
Second up is the new EA Graphics Editor. This appears to be a beta version, however that has not deterred others from taking it on a test run. Check the thread out here.
Portuguese fans don't go anywhere as the news that I bring will blow your mind. There is a great thread at the Forums where some devoted Portuguese fans are going to make the Superliga Portuguesa 2002/2003, which has desperately missed by many of its supporters. The thread is highly popular, however worth a read if you’re interested. The thread is here.
These threads are of great quality, and are the tip of the iceberg on what Soccer Gaming's Forums have to offer. On a final note, it’s good to see users are taking advantage of the Fifa 2003 Support Forum, if you have any Questions or Queries please direct them there.
A lot of complaints have been made over the fact that EA Sports did not include a weather selection option in FIFA 2003. Well now your problems are solved! Sunday and FCH have released a new patch called "FIFA Weather Patcher 2003". With this utility you can now play FIFA 2003 in the following weather conditions:
With the ECP relaunch just around the corner, they are providing the FIFA community with 2 new utilities for FIFA 2003.
Access Editor: Created by Maniac of the ECP Team and also FIFA Bosnia, this utility is made from Access forms and it allows you to edit almost everything in the FIFA 2003 database, but more, it has a great interface matched by no other editor like it. It is so simple that even the aspiring editor can work with it.
ECP Access Editor
GoFSH!: Created by Hercules, this utility is a .fsh viewer/exporter. Due to the new file format implemented by EA Sports some of the old utilities are no longer compatible. GoFSH! can view all .fsh files with only one image such as kits, faces, and more.
GoFSH!
With 2 programs released simultaneously, there is still many more to come in the immediate future at ECP. A newer version of Access Editor is already in the making, with possible new functions, such as face previews. Also, GoFSH! has a second version coming soon, making it fully compatible with all .fsh files, including flag .fsh files. Look out for all future and current releases at: ECP
